The Vector Basketball Goal is an affordable option that offers adjustability. Its 4"x4" 11 gauge steel post is 50% heavier than any goal of its kind, and its one-piece post design eliminates wobbling and rusting joints common in sectional-type posts. This provides stability and durability, ensuring the longevity of the goal.

The Vector's unique front-mount EZ Crank is a great choice, especially when a wall or other obstruction makes installing a rear-mount crank style impossible. First Team is the ONLY manufacturer to offer a front-mount EZ Crank with SPRING-ASSIST.  The spring-aided crank design is the easiest to operate in the industry and allows the rim height to quickly be adjusted anywhere from 10' down to 7'.  The crank handle is removable to prevent unwanted adjustment.  The clear and precise rim height indicator shows the rim height at all times.

A variety of backboards and rims are available to customize the Vector package to fit your needs. Additionally, for added safety, pole padding and backboard padding can be added to any package.

EXTENSION ARM

Adjustable extension arms are constructed of 2" x 2" tubing. Extension allows for a minimum 32" from front of post to face of backboard with rim at 10' playing height. The height adjustment crank cylinder has minimum 2000# capacity rating. Adjustment crank shall is located on the front side of post allowing unit to be installed in areas where rear mounting crank goals are impossible. Crank handle is removable to prevent unwanted adjustment. Rim height can be adjusted infinitely from 10’ down to 7’. Two springs mounted in the extension assembly are included to minimize the amount of effort required to adjust the goal height when raising or lowering the unit. The rim is mounted directly to the extension arm through the backboard to reduce stress on the backboard. An easy-to-read height adjustment label shall register rim height

VERTICAL UPRIGHT

Vertical pole is one-piece 4" square (sectional posts not considered equal) with a minimum 11 gauge wall thickness and allows for burying 36" in concrete. Posts with thinner wall thickness are not considered equal. Posts intended to be buried less than 36" are not considered equal. Pole has a watertight vinyl cap to seal out moisture.

RIM

Flexible rim absorbs the stress of player contact. Nylon net included. 5/8" diameter.
