At BasketballHoops.com, we work hard to ensure every order ships safely and arrives ready for installation. Because many of our products ship via freight carriers, it’s important that customers carefully review and follow the delivery guidelines below.

Transfer of Liability
Once an order leaves the warehouse and is picked up by the carrier, responsibility for the shipment transfers to the customer. BasketballHoops.com is not liable for damage that occurs in transit if delivery procedures are not properly followed.

Inspecting Your Delivery
Please inspect all packages at the time of delivery before signing any paperwork.

  • Significant Visible Damage:
    If the packaging or product shows major damage (crushed boxes, punctures, broken components, etc.), refuse the shipment and have the carrier return it to sender immediately. Do not accept delivery of heavily damaged freight.

  • Minor Packaging Damage:
    If packaging has small cosmetic damage but the item appears new and intact, you may accept the delivery at your discretion. Before signing:

    • Document the condition with photos.

    • Note the damage with the delivery driver.

    • Inspect the item as thoroughly as possible BEFORE SIGNING FOR THE DELIVERY.

After Signing for Delivery
If a package is delivered and signed for, open and inspect it immediately. Do not wait days or weeks to check your shipment.

Reporting Concealed Damage
Any hidden or concealed damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery to:

Your report must include:

  • Clear photos of the packaging and damaged area

  • Order details

  • Description of the issue

Failure to report concealed damage within 48 hours may result in denial of replacement or refund eligibility.
