Plus, its one-piece pole design eliminates joint deterioration common in sectional-type posts.

The Legacy's extension arm is made of tough 4"x4" square tubing and extends 36" from post to backboard, providing added safety for players. While the U-bolt attachment makes it a "Fixed Height" goal, the arm can be re-attached at any height along the post.

CONSTRUCTION

All steel pole components are welded using maximum penetration, continuous weld, MIG procedure.

EXTENSION ARM

Main 45 degree extension arm tube is 4"x4" rectangular 11 gauge wall steel tubing and provides a 36" extension from front of pole to face of backboard. Extension arm is constructed to allow rim bolts to pass through backboard and directly into extension arm for strength and player safety. Extension arm is secured to vertical post by means of two 4" zinc plated U-bolts. Additionally, an H-frame is included to further support the backboard.

VERTICAL UPRIGHT

Vertical pole is one-piece 4" square (sectional posts not considered equal) with a minimum 11 gauge wall thickness The bolt-down 3/8" thick baseplate and 4 support gussets are welded at the bottom of the vertical pole to allow the unit to be installed via an anchoring system.

RIM

Flexible rim absorbs the stress of player contact. Nylon net included. 5/8" diameter.
